putting pants on the octopus recording session

Hi friends! I'm gathering some friends to sing and record a lil choral piece I've written about octopi (and what might happen if they wear pants!)

On April 12th from 1-5PM, I will be hosting a rehearsal and recording session of my piece, putting pants on the octopus, because I want to sing with YOU and I want to sing with you about octopi. We will be recording in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. 

Note: This is an unpaid project but I will do everything in my power to provide good snacks, a safe space for singing, and hopefully a good time. You will also, obviously, get credit in the video description. 

The deadline to sign up is March 31st and you will receive an email with the exact location, details, a voice part assignment, and a score on April 4th. (If you want a sneak peek of the score it's here -> https://www.hannahcaisobel.com/scores under Choral.)

C4 March 2025 Concert 2

C4 is collaborating with Brooklyn Youth Chorus this season on a science/math themed concert! I'll be singing my first ever solo in quarter tones (or at least on-purpose quarter tones!) Our second concert will be on Saturday, March 15th at 8PM at St. Paul's Carroll Gardens, (199 Carroll Street, Brooklyn, NY, 11231.) You can buy tickets for Saturday here.

CCI / San Antonio Miniatures

Join us for an interactive concert experience featuring an installation co-created by Unheard-of, our CCI participants, and special guest Pamela Martinez exploring San Antonio nature at Evergreen Garden Center, a community staple since 1997 featuring an original glass greenhouse built in 1940. The performance combines solo works, electronics, and group participation pieces featuring both the ensemble and participants. We also feature an interactive plant sound sculpture by Pamela Martinez.
